Discover the opportunities to partner with ROP in God's kingdom work in our East Colfax community! Here's a few ideas for your group:
Churches or groups who are interested in pursuing involvement with ROP can contact Vicki Bryant, our Volunteer Coordinator.
- Schedule a tour to see what God is doing at ROP and assess how your church or group might get involved!
- Join us at a special event like one of our Open Houses, Vacation Bible School, our annual Run for Impact 5K, Christmas celebrations. Check out our calendar to see what's coming up!
- Volunteer a few hours to assist in ROP's ministry and use your specific skills or gifts in an area of need.
- Host a prayer night for the East Colfax Community at your church or business.
- Spend a day doing a service project at ROP's building or neighborhood (painting, gardening, cleaning, etc.)
- Visit one of our ministries to see what God is doing and see how you might be involved on an ongoing basis.
- Serve as a team in a "local missions project" by participating in a 3-day or 1-week immersion into urban ministry, with a focus of your choice.
- Learn about people in your church or group becoming High-Impact Volunteers in one of our programs, as administrative help, or in building maintenance.
- Did you know ROP has internship opportunities? These can apply to college credit also!

Sheetrock patching and repairs
Electrical repairs, such as changing out light fixtures
Garden drip-system repairs
One-day service projects that might need tools & supplies:
Painting an office, walls, shed, outside graffiti, or outside bench
Storage clean out and organization
Concrete pad poured for dumpster
Grate and re-rock alley parking
Parking lot cleanup with roll-off dumpster
Large storage shed for parking lot
Help with Children's garden
Items in need of replacement:
Office shredder
Commercial vacuum
Ministry dishwasher
Hand truck/dolly
Wheels for Food Bank carts
Half-Day Neighborhood Clean-up or Community Outreach:
Walk-n-Talks & Prayer Walks
